Thoughtful Online Mixing Services for Independent Artists Who Want Their Music to Connect

If you’ve got a clear creative direction and want your music to feel deeper, more powerful, and genuinely finished, I offer online mixing that brings out what’s already in the song — not something generic on top of it.
As a mixing engineer, my role is to bring clarity, depth, and direction to your track without losing what made it yours in the first place.
The focus isn’t just “clean and loud”. It’s clarity, depth, and emotional impact, so your track holds up next to professional releases and actually connects with listeners.
I’ve spent the past 9+ years working with independent artists across genres — helping turn rough or home-recorded tracks into mixes that feel finished, cohesive, and release-ready.
Get Started
Tell me what you’re working on and I’ll come back with a clear next step
Prefer to talk it through first? We can figure out what your track needs.
This is for you if…
- You’re releasing original music and you care how it lands emotionally
- You’re open to collaboration and can communicate what you like (references help)
- You want a mix with depth, clarity, and impact, not a fast preset-style job
- You’re a singer-songwriter, band, producer, or self-releasing artist building a real body of work
I work best with artists who are serious about their releases and willing to invest in getting the result right – not just getting it finished quickly.
If you’re unsure whether your project is ready, you can still reach out. I’ll tell you honestly what will make the biggest difference.
Online mixing, wherever you are
I provide online mixing services for artists worldwide, working remotely while keeping the process clear, collaborative, and focused on your vision.
Mixing rates

Mixing is an investment in how your music is experienced. Not just how it sounds, but how it connects.
Professional mixing typically ranges from £200–£1000+ per track depending on the project, with most of my work sitting around the middle of that range.
Most single-song mixes fall in the region of £250–£400, depending on the track and what’s needed.
I keep pricing project-specific rather than one-size-fits-all, but you’ll always get a clear quote upfront so you know exactly what to expect
What my online mixing service includes
Mixing is where a good recording becomes a finished record.
It’s not just balancing levels; it’s shaping tone, space, energy, and emotional movement so the song feels convincing from the first second to the last.
When I mix your track, I focus on:
- Clarity and balance so every important element has a place
- Depth and space so the track feels immersive instead of flat
- Tone and character that fits your genre and your identity
- Dynamics and impact so the song hits when it needs to, and breathes when it should
- Translation so it works across headphones, cars, phones, and proper systems
- A cohesive finish that feels release-ready without losing the human feel
Each mix typically takes multiple days of focused work, not a quick preset pass — so every detail holds up under real listening.
If something in the recording is holding the mix back, I’ll tell you early and suggest practical fixes.
Why mixing matters more than you think

A mix can be technically “perfect” and still fall flat.
What matters is whether the song actually connects.
A weak mix can hold a great song back — even if the writing and performance are strong.
A strong mix isn’t just about sounding “professional.” It’s about helping the song communicate, so the emotion lands, the energy feels intentional, and the track holds up next to the music your listeners already love.
A lot of my work involves taking recordings that aren’t perfect on paper and helping them reach their full potential — without losing their character.
The right mix helps your music:
- Make a stronger first impression within the first few seconds
- Feel bigger and more immersive without losing honesty or dynamics
- Translate across listening systems (earbuds, car, phone, studio monitors)
- Hit emotionally through contrast, movement, and depth
- Stand out in a crowded landscape, not by being louder, but by being clearer and more meaningful
If the recording is already strong, mixing is where it becomes unmistakably yours.
How online mixing (remote mixing) works
Remote mixing should feel simple. Here’s how it usually works:
1. Enquiry & quote
You tell me about your track, timeline, and goals. I’ll send a clear quote and next steps.
2. Send files & notes
You send your multitracks, rough mix, and any references. I’ll check everything before starting.
3. Mixing begins
I build your mix with your vision in mind — focusing on clarity, depth, and emotional impact.
4. Feedback & revisions (up to 3 included)
You send notes, I refine the mix, and we repeat until it feels right.
5. Final delivery
You receive your final files ready for release (WAV, instrumental, a cappella, etc. if needed).
Turnaround:
First mix typically delivered within 1 week. If I’m busy, up to 2 weeks — always confirmed upfront.
A different approach to online mixing
There are plenty of online mixing services that focus on speed, presets, and volume.
My approach is slower, more detailed, and built around the song itself — because that’s what actually makes a track last:
- Song-first, not formula-first I’m not trying to force everything into the same template. The mix should fit the song.
- Clear communication You’ll always know what stage we’re at, what I need from you, and what happens next.
- Emotion and musical intent Technical choices matter, but they only matter because they support the feeling.
- Honest guidance If something isn’t working, I’ll say so in a helpful way. The goal is to get the best result, not to rush you through a process.
If you care about depth, identity, and impact, we’ll work well together.
Get a mix quote
If you’ve read this far, you probably care about how your music comes across.
That’s usually a good sign we’ll work well together.
Best if your track is ready or close to ready. I’ll review it and give you a clear next step.
Best if you want to talk things through before committing.
No pressure. No generic sales process.
